The academy is closed for the summer holidays, and we hope all our students and families enjoy a restful break. We look forward to welcoming Year 7 and Year 11 students back on Wednesday 2 September, with all other year groups returning on Thursday 3 September.

Year 7 science experiment

On Wednesday 14th May, Year 7 scientists conducted an investigation to determine what colour red cabbage turns in acid, alkali and neutral substances.

This included using their science skills to heat red cabbage in water, filter the water off, and also use a pipette to add the liquid to test tubes containing acid, alkali and neutral substances.
