Dixons Croxteth Begins a New Journey with Well-being Walk

Posted 25th September 2024

Staff and students from Dixons Croxteth launched their academic journey for 2024-25 with a Well-being Walk on Thursday, 19th September. This initiative, developed by the Student Council, marked the start of the school year and set the stage for a year of growth, reflection, and achievement. The walk is the first step towards a larger goal, with all year groups set to take on a mountain hike at the end of the academic year.

During the event, students reflected on their experiences from the previous year and shared their aspirations for the year ahead. Staff also contributed, discussing their priorities and plans for further enhancing the academy. Walks were held across various locations, providing opportunities for meaningful conversations about personal growth and well-being.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make the Well-being Walk a success, particularly Mr Makin and the Student Council for leading the initiative, and the admin team for their tireless work behind the scenes. The dedication and teamwork shown by staff, students, and all involved made this a memorable occasion, promoting both physical and mental well-being within the Dixons Croxteth community.
