Transition Day at Dixons Croxteth: A warm welcome for our new Year 7 pupils
Posted 6th July 2024
On Thursday, July 3rd, we were thrilled to welcome our new Year 7 students to Dixons Croxteth for a special Transition Day.
The day began at 8:50 AM and was filled with exciting activities. Our new students enjoyed a school tour, took part in engaging lessons, and experienced break and lunch just like they will when they start in September.
Vice Principal Anish Morgan did an exceptional job organizing this significant day. Transitioning from primary to secondary school is a major step, and we aimed to ensure our new pupils felt both comfortable and excited about their journey ahead. Parents were warmly welcomed with a small yet thoughtful gift, carefully prepared to make this day even more special for them.
With a Planned Admission Number (PAN) of 120, we are delighted that more than 70 families have chosen Dixons Croxteth as their first or second choice. This demonstrates the trust they have in us to provide a great education, and we're committed to living up to their expectations.
Transition Day was a wonderful opportunity to show our new students and their families that they've made the right choice. We can't wait to see them grow and thrive at Dixons Croxteth!
