Geography students visited a glaciated landscape in North Wales and investigated the natural and human impacts upon it.

Lake Idwal is a stunning, crystal-clear glacial lake located in a dramatic mountain bowl within the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales.

It is surrounded by high, rugged peaks and is known for its dramatic geological features, rare alpine flora, and, often, a mysterious, mist-shrouded atmosphere.

All students were encouraged to participate in the photography challenge, with the aim to focus the camera on capturing evidence of the power of physical geography.
