Our academy is now closed for summer. We look forward to welcoming students back in September.

Our annual awards evening

Posted 25th July 2025

Before the summer break, we celebrated a proud milestone with our first annual awards evening.

It was a truly joyful celebration of students' hard work, growth, and achievement, shared with their families and our dedicated staff. There was a genuine sense of pride in the room, a reflection of the strong community we are building.

The evening began with a warm welcome from our principal, followed by an inspiring address from a special guest and former De La Salle student, Alex Quigley. Alex spoke candidly about his own journey, the highs and the challenges and reminded our students that resilience, kindness, and hard work are the foundations of success.

He then presented the academic awards, which recognised both excellence and personal progress across each subject and year group. These moments celebrated students who not only achieved highly, but who overcame barriers to do so.

The final honours of the night were the academy's values awards, given to one student in every year group who best embodies the academy's values, followed by the principal’s award, a fitting close to a night full of inspiration.

To all the award winners and their families, you should be incredibly proud. We know we are.
