Our Careers In Our Community talks focus on people from our community sharing their experience the world of work and education .

Pupils have the opportunity to find out about the careers and educational journeys of people, from their own community.

Our first talk was delivered to year 10 from Kev and Marc, who are both Theatre Practitioners from Whiston Hospital. Marc lives in Croxteth and his oldest son was part of our year 11 in 2024 at Dixons Croxteth.

Kev and Marc explained their two very different routes, one via A-levels and a degree and the other via a work-place fully funded degree apprenticeship .

Kev and Marc were so impressed by our academy and the year 10 students.
