Jacqui Varkulis

Jacqui serves as vice principal at Dixons Croxteth Academy and brings 18 years of experience in education. She is responsible for overseeing attendance, punctuality, and the behaviour and attitudes of students, all of which are central to shaping the school's culture.

Deeply committed to the mission of challenging social and educational disadvantage in the North, Jacqui places strong emphasis on the importance of students being in school every day and on time. She fully recognises the positive impact this has on enabling pupils to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Known for upholding exceptionally high standards in behaviour and attitudes, Jacqui ensures that students consistently embody the school's core values of hard work, integrity, and fairness. She is also a strong advocate for the school's key drivers of purpose, mastery, and autonomy, helping students develop the resilience and self-determination needed to take ownership of their learning.
