She inspires - Everton FC In The Community

On Friday 27 June, a cohort of Year 8 girls went to take part in the celebration event for the She Inspires programme run by Everton FC In The Community. The girls have taken part in a programme facilitated by Everton focusing on a variety of activities including classroom-based learning as well as practical activities outside on the school field.

The focus of the programme was to instil more confidence in our female students. The programme certainly achieved its aims, and the students involved thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and have clearly developed their confidence and self-esteem within the school. The celebration event was also a real success and all students involved thoroughly enjoyed the day.

We are looking forward to engaging with the programme again next year with a new cohort of students.
